Will boiling water kill all bacteria and germs?

not ALL bacteria and germs but it is still very effective!

Will boiling water kill all bacteria and germs?
will kill/eliminate most but not all.
Reply:it kills 99% of them....it's the most effective thing to do to sterilize something
Reply:I think that it will. They will not be able to survive in hot boiling water because they will be cooked just like anything else in boiling water.

Reply:If water is kept boiling for 30 minutes, bacteria, parasites and even virus are killed.
Reply:no...but try a half a cup of bleach in a gallon of water...that'll usually kill a lot!
Reply:No I am afraid it will not . Some bacteria will survive very high temperatures and will merely go into a dormant state until the environment becomes more friendly .
Reply:Boiling water will kill most, but not all bacteria because some bacteria are what they call thermophilic, which means "heat loving". The ones that are killed by boiling water are called thermophobic - "heat hating". You can look up thermophobic and thermophilic bacteria on the internet for more info.
Reply:Boiling water is the most simplest and easiest form of disinfecting water. To kill most of the disease-causing organisms, bacteria and viruses water should be brought to a rolling boil and kept boiling for 3 minutes. This water should then be warmed naturally without adding any ice to it. This will ensure maximum safety. Besides that the tap water is treated with chlorine, so it does kill harmfull germs to certain extent. But boiling water is the safest.

Also, boiling water should be cooled and then used to make ice cubes. Else if you use tap water ice in boiled water while drinking all the germs from the ice can come back in the water.
