What if unlike scientist say bacteria flew off Mars and landed on earth staring life.?

Perhaps instead Mars a very earth like world once had life in humaniod form and in an attempt to stay alive left their world and came to earth and in their struggle for survival they weren't able to keep records and regressed forgetting that they didn't originate here? Would explain Atlantis, nascar lines, Anastassi and maybe other mysteries.

What if unlike scientist say bacteria flew off Mars and landed on earth staring life.?
The idea that life did not originate on Earth but came from elsewhere in the universe is called Panspermia; it's not really a very useful theory because it still doesn't address the important question: How did life arise in the first place?
Reply:Mars and Earth are nearly the same age. How could their life forms be so much more advanced than us?

That's a dumb answer I guess but damn this is a dumb question.
Reply:Actually, some scientists do see Mars as a possible source of life on Earth, but at a much earlier time and in a much more primitive form than you're suggesting. There really is absolutely no evidence for "lost civilizations" in the history and prehistory of the Earth, nor of early alien visitors. Mankind should be proud of its own accomplishments, as well as ashamed of some of its low spots. No need to give anyone else credit or blame for either.
Reply:It is possible but barley. The source for life is undetected but the most logical theroy is that life and water was brought to us by comets, and the metals by astroids. But the origin of life on Earth is one of the biggest mysteries that astrobiologists are trying to solve in order to search for other life in space. And mars having life in a humanoid for is unlikley because scientists would have found fossil evedience on mars. The mars rovers have not detected such a thing. And species evolve so they probably would get smarter but it is higly unlikely that all of them would forget everything.
Reply:"Nascar lines" has got to be the funniest thing I have ever read under Astronomy and Space!

I guess the idea is that Richard Petty brought life to Earth?
Reply:It is unlikely that life on earth that evolved as humans began as bacteria from Mars or anywhere else. If life in humanoid form arrived here long ago you have a fascinating theory.
